JOB SUMMARY

The TRUE Services, Sr. Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and growth of our aftermarket, repairs, rentals, & field service product lines. With a focus on operational efficiency and new business growth, the Sr. Manager will be responsible for leading these various service lines through operational KPIs and business reporting, market intelligence and competitor benchmarking, and strategic relationship development with both customers and channel partners. The TRUE Services, Sr. Manager is accountable for the financial performance of these Aftermarket service lines for Canrig’s US operations, reporting to senior management as well as implementing operational practices to meet the financial budgets set forth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in oilfield drilling machinery, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of customer service dynamics.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage yearly road map of projects for the service and rentals department and ensure alignment with corporate goals.

• Lead and manage the Services and Rentals business to effectively execute the roadmap.

• Set performance goals and monitor and report effectiveness to organization

• Monitor service metrics, such as response time, resolution time and customer satisfaction and implement strategies to improve.

• Analyze trends and customer feedback to identify areas for service improvement an innovation. Work closely with sales and marketing teams to identify upselling and cross selling opportunities within the aftermarket, rental and repair segments.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers to ensure satisfaction and loyalty

• Prepare and manage the Aftermarket service lines budget

• Monitor financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and profitability

• Implement business actions which drive revenue growth and cost control to drive profitability

• Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance service delivery and customer experience

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in aftermarket services, customer support, or a related role in the oilfield drilling sector

  • Proven experience in managing teams and driving performance improvements.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORKING CONDITIONS

• Predominantly office-based with occasional travel to customer sites and company locations.

• May require occasional evening and weekend work to meet deadlines and support customer needs.
