NuScale Power Senior Auditor (Business Process) in Houston, Texas
POSITION SUMMARY: The Sr. Auditor will join independent internal audit function at NuScale. This role will assist with the execution of the SOX testing program and other internal audits as needed. They will further the reputation of the internal audit function as a strategic partner on compliance, issue identification, and remediation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Deliver high quality work and build relationships across the organization
Support all phases of SOX, operational, and compliance audits, including risk assessment, planning, scoping, execution, and reporting.
Collaborate with process owners to ensure proper documentation of policies and procedures applicable to key business processes.
Assist in the development of internal audit plans.
Assist in performing risk assessments and provide updates as changes in the operating environment occur.
Perform walkthroughs with stakeholders to assist with process documentation, including process workflows
Ensure SOX documentation is kept current for scoping, testing, and remediation activities
Perform SOX testing, including key reports testing, preparing test scripts, and documenting the tests of controls.
Identify control deficiencies, develop remediation plans, and monitor remediation progress.
Interface with, and assist, outside auditors to expedite their work.
Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND ABILITIES:
Education/Certification: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field is required. Advanced degree in Finance or Accounting and holds a CPA or CIA strongly preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of full-time public accounting, internal auditing, or directly relevant experience testing SOX compliance is required.
Industry Requirements: Eligible to work under Department of Energy 10 CFR Part 810.

The target pay range for this position is $99,175 - $119,694 annually. The full pay range is $88,915 - $139,073.
