Job Title: Senior Accountant

Duration: Direct Hire - Onsite Monday-Thursday, Remote Flex Friday

Growing global manufacturing company located Northwest Houston is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join the team! Great opportunity to work directly with the Controller and ample opportunity for executive leadership exposure and interaction.

Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Senior Accountant with manufacturing experience to join our finance team. This role will report directly to the North America Controller and work closely with the existing Senior Accountant, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR) teams to handle accounting functions across the US and Canada. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of progressive accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports in alignment with established schedules and team inputs.

• Manage full cycle accounting, including general journal entries, accruals, account analysis, and reconciliations.

• Oversee cost accounting functions such as cycle count audits, standard cost roll processes, and inventory management.

• Generate flash reports, quarterly P&L and Balance Sheet forecasts, and annual financial plans.

• Support corporate internal audits and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

• Aid in the development of internal financial policies and procedures and assist in the coordination of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.

• Perform complex financial analysis and reporting and support the Controller with special projects.

• Maintain well-documented work papers and ensure effective internal control guidelines.

  Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.

• 5+ years of experience in accounting or financial planning and analysis, with a strong emphasis on manufacturing.

• Proficiency in GAAP, cost accounting, and ERP systems.

• Experience with Hyperion, IFS, and/or SmartView is a plus.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Capability to work independently with minimal supervision and effectively interact with all management levels.

• Hybrid schedule (Onsite Monday-Thursday, Remote Flex Friday)

• Offering $90k-110k depending on experience
