Weatherford SALESFORCE ARCHITECT MGR in Houston, Texas

Design and deliver technical solutions using systems and products for company’s Commercial function. Manage and recommend optimal CRM (Customer Relationship Management) solution for given requirements and articulate trade-offs involved in choosing one solution over another. Design and architect solutions leveraging Salesforce’s newest capabilities and develop strong test cases and UAT process to ensure success of implementation. Support IT development teams leveraging Lightning, Apex, Java Script, AJAX and other technologies to build customized solutions to support business requirements. Responsible for leading subject matter experts and general users in designing lasting systems, that are easily maintainable and scalable as business grows. Serve as technology ambassador, planning for future, and thinking three-to-five years out when recommending solutions. Identify and mitigate technical risks, present alternatives, recommend best solution based on requirements and provide solution walkthrough to Commercial Leader and internal customers.

80% onsite, 20% remote

10% domestic and international travel required

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field of study AND 10 years of progressive experience with CRM architecture development. The employer will also accept a Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field of study AND 6 years of experience in CRM architecture development in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of progressive experience.

The applicant must have the following required certifications:

  • Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator;

  • Salesforce Platform, Developer;

  • Salesforce Platform, App Builder; and

  • any one of the following Business Analysis certifications:

• Salesforce Cloud Consultant Certification;

• Microsoft Power Bi Data Analyst Professional Certificate;

• Data Analysis with Python Course;

• SQL for Data Science Course;

• Data Analysis R Course; or

• Data Science Fundamentals Python SQL Specialization.

In addition, the applicant must have demonstrated experience with:

  1. 10 years (6 years with a Master’s degree) of experience with the Salesforce platform, Enterprise Salesforce implementation;

  2. 5 years of team management experience, including direct and indirect reporting for matrix organization;

  3. capabilities and constraints of Salesforce and Lightening Platform;

  4. working with cross-functional stakeholders and influence decision-making;

  5. employee development and training;

  6. leading Salesforce application development, implementation, and administration;

  7. Salesforce architecture, configuration, and customization options;

  8. Salesforce Lightning, Apex, Angular JS, Lightning Web Components and Visual Force;

  9. Salesforce integrations, data migration, and data management strategies;

  10. translating business requirements into technical solutions; and

  11. Oil & Gas (Energy) industry-specific Salesforce solutions (such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Experience Cloud).

Any and all experience may be gained concurrently.
