Cimarron and Watring are seeking anRF Systems Engineerto support the Space Launch System (SLS) program in Huntsville, AL. The SLS is going to be NASA's largest and most powerful rocket, and will be used to take U.S. astronauts back to the Moon, and beyond!

Watring is a subsidiary of Cimarron. Watring Technologies, Inc. is a Huntsville, Alabama, technology-based design and manufacturing company specializing in custom hardware and turnkey solutions. Founded in 1997, Watring Technologies primary support is in Aerospace and Defense. Their capabilities include hardware integration, testing, and product development. With this acquisition, Cimarron gains substantial capability in both expanded service and product offerings.

This position may require some travel to the Michoud Assembly Facility (MAF) in Louisiana and the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

Key Duties:

• Provide RF systems engineering services for the core stage and upper stage components of Space Launch systems, including:
  • Maturation and maintenance of dynamic link analysis in Simulink
  • Analysis of overall RF system performance across the program CONOPS/timeline
  • Resolution of issues discovered throughout analysis and test of RF components
  • Development and delivery of verification compliance reports to close RF-related avionics subsystem requirements

Required Skills, Experience, and Education:

• Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at this time.
• 5 or more years of RF Engineering experience.
• Ability to work well in bothindividual setting and team environment.
• Experience with Simulink.
• Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline from an accredited course of study.

Desired Skills, Experience, and Education:

• Previous experience supporting a NASA project or program.
• 10 or more years of RF Engineering experience.
• Master's degree in a related technical discipline.
