Description:

The Department of Mathematics at the University of Houston invites applications for a non-tenure-track faculty Research Fellow.

The prospective Research Fellow is expected to pursue research on finite element methods for geometric PDEs, in particular for fluid problems posed on surfaces. Both theoretical analysis of numerical methods and code development would be a part of Research Fellow duties.

Qualifications Doctoral and No experience

Requires singular knowledge of a specialized advanced professional discipline or the highest level of general business knowledge, normally acquired through attainment of a directly job-related terminal degree or equivalent formal training in a recognized field of specialization that is directly related to the type of work being performed. No experience is required.
