Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a React.js Developer in the Energy/Natural Resources industry. The position is based in Houston, Texas. As a React.js Developer, you will be primarily focused on developing user interface components using React.js workflows such as Flux or Redux. You will also be responsible for maintaining the robustness and easy maintenance of these components and the overall application.

Responsibilities

• Develop new user-facing features using React.js

• Construct reusable components and front-end libraries for future use

• Implement designs and wireframes into high-quality code

• Optimize components for maximum performance across various web-capable devices and browsers

• Collaborate with the team to solve problems, design sophisticated solutions, and enhance the quality of the product

• Ensure robustness and easy maintenance of the application and its components Requirements • Demonstrable experience with React.js and its core principles

• Proficient understanding of Redux for managing application state

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and JavaScript object model

• Familiarity with newer specifications of ECMAScript (ES6)

• Experience with data structure libraries

• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token

• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools

• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements

• A knack for benchmarking and optimization

• Familiarity with code versioning tools, such as Git

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a team environment

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
