Your Role at KIK
We are seeking a Quality Control Inspector with experience to join our 2nd Shift (Monday - Saturday) (2:00 pm - 10:30 am) team . This person will need to safely be around machines and assist machine operators. Conduct Hourly Quality inspections and provide break coverage support. This person will maintain quality standards, while contributing to a safe and clean work environment. This person will adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices, Standard Operating Procedures and Safety Standards. This position has an hourly rate of $17.50 , in addition to a quarterly incentive bonus. What You’ll Be Doing
• Inspect the product quality on the production line to ensure compliance with codes, standards, and regulations are met.
• Conducts QC tests during production runs as required using statistical
sampling procedures and documents results properly.
• Maintains accurate records of inspections.
• Inspects production lines according to established quality procedures and
documents result properly.
• Notifies the Production Supervisor of any quality issues. Resolves quality issues with the machine operator. Documents actions properly.
• Communicate production line issues with incoming shift QC Inspector.
• Ensure final product quality, seeking guidance when needed, and contribute to a safe and clean work environment.
• Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices, Standard Operating Procedures, Safety Standards, and follow all plant policies and procedures.
What You’ll Bring
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2 years related experience in a manufacturing environment
• Must work different shifts and overtime as required
• Excellent visual acuity (corrected if necessary).
• Detailed orientated
• Must be able to work with people.
• Adhere to Health and Safety and GMP regulations
• Understands the facility policies for weights and specifications.
• Must be able to learn the use of scales, micrometers, gauges, data collection
systems, meters, material/manufacturing instructions, follow other written or verbal
instructions.
• Must be capable of operating or able to learn to operate electronic data
collection systems and the use of those systems with the computer.
• Must be capable of operating computers.
• Proficient in reading, writing and speaking English.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Must be able to work in areas where noise, heat, cold and smell can be a
factor.
