Robert Half Project Manager/Sr. Consultant in Houston, Texas

Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Project Manager/Sr. Consultant in the Manufacturing industry based in Houston, Texas. This role involves creating processes and workflows, developing roadmaps, and working with stakeholders within a discrete, batch process manufacturing environment. The Project Manager/Sr. Consultant will also be expected to utilize their expert knowledge of Microsoft Dev Ops, Powersteering or PMO software to create monthly reports on KPI's and metrics.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement processes and workflows within a Project Management Office (PMO).

• Work extensively in a discrete, batch process manufacturing environment.

• Develop comprehensive roadmaps to guide project execution and control.

• Create compelling business cases to support new initiatives.

• Develop and maintain program/process documentation.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to establish agreement on metrics.

• Develop metrics and track costs monthly.

• Utilize Microsoft Dev Ops (ADO), Powersteering, or PMO software to accomplish tasks.

• Generate monthly reports on KPI’s and metrics.

• Create workflows in Servicenow.

• Hold or be willing to obtain relevant certifications, such as Project Management Professional(PMP) or Certified Change Management Professional(CCMP). Requirements • Must possess a valid PMP Certification

• Demonstrated experience in Discrete Manufacturing is necessary

• Proficiency in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) is required

• Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps is essential

• Must have excellent project management skills

• Proven ability to lead a team and manage resources efficiently

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

• Possess strong decision-making skills

• Must have a keen attention to detail

• Excellent time management skills

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

• Proven track record in delivering projects on time and within budget
