We believe that inclusion helps us thrive and grow at United across our collaborative Finance teams consisting of Financial Planning & Analysis, Internal Audit, Treasury, Global Procurement, Controllership, Investor Relations and more. These teams provide the financial fuel that keeps our operation running from providing detailed analyses of financial planning, performance, and forecasts to managing our investments and financial strategies. Our Finance team plays an integral role in making our airline profitable and successful by meeting our financial goals.

Key Responsibilities:

The Project Manager (PM) will deliver impactful projects/programs as assigned and serve as change agent across the organization for the Passenger Revenue Accounting (PRA) project management office. The PRA PM partners with multiple departments across the organization such as Loyalty, Sales, Ancillary and Payments to deliver successful projects that positively impact revenue growth and customer satisfaction. Responsible to provide prioritization, direction, and structure to enable efficient implementation of assigned projects and initiatives.

  • Management of overall project management life cycle – requirements, design, build, test & deploy.

  • Build and lead user acceptance test strategy including test plan, test cases and project metrics.

  • Facilitate meetings with project teams and partners to ensure alignment and clarity.

  • Identify project partners and maintain regular communication with partners, providing updates on project status, issues, and risks.

  • Ensure that all projects are delivered according to the highest quality standards.

  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and post-project evaluations.

  • Prepare and present regular reports on project progress, issues, and risks to senior management.

  • Conduct quality assurance tests and post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement.

  • Adheres to the project schedule, solves day to day data/customer issues with minimal supervision and answers questions related to specific implementation project execution. Escalates complex issues and follows through resolution, ensuring appropriate communication to all impacted parties.

  • Collaborate within PRA and with digital technology partners for continued process optimization.

  • Support financial system maintenance by performing master data updates and user role provisioning.

Qualifications

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

  • Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant work experience in Project Management, Business Administration, Finance, Technology, or aviation related field

  • 3+ year’s experience

  • Application of Project Management methodology, waterfall and agile

  • Experience with project management software and tools.

  • High attention to detail to ensure accuracy and thoroughness in project deliverables.

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, verbal and presentation skills

  • Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and lead ambiguity.

  • Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously.
