SURVICE Engineering Project Manager - Hunton Services in Houston, Texas

Hunton Services, a division of Hunton Group (https://huntongroup.com/) in Houston, TX is seeking to hire a motivated and solutions-oriented Project Manager for our industrial service division who will manage all aspects of the project lifecycle for HVAC Mechanical projects. Selected individuals will have direct responsibility for the administration, implementation, and management of projects while being accountable for assigned projects' scope of work, schedule, and budget. The ideal candidate must have familiarity with a variety of field concepts, practices and procedures of HVAC Mechanical systems.

Responsibilities :

  • Coordinate internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure effective collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in accordance with budget parameters.

  • Conduct project forecasting to proactively manage costs and identify potential challenges.

  • Manage resource availability and allocation to optimize project performance.

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, tracking progress and addressing any delays.

  • Oversee changes in project scope, timelines, and budgets, ensuring proper documentation and alignment.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project teams.

  • Proactively manage project risks to minimize potential impacts on timelines and budgets.

  • Establish and maintain productive partnerships with external vendors and subcontractors.

  • Prepare comprehensive project close-out documentation, including warranty letters and final reports.

  • Utilize project management tools, such as spreadsheets and software, to track project progress and document requirements.

  • Foster strong working relationships with field personnel, ensuring open and effective communication.

  • Assume additional duties and responsibilities as necessary to support project success.

    Qualifications :

  • Excellent client-facing, internal communication skills, written and verbal communication skills.

  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.

  • Strong working knowledge of MS Word, MS Projects and MS Excel.

    Education and/or Experience :

  • Experience in production or project management related to industrial HVAC or Process Cooling Mechanical Systems.

  • Project management experience within industrial facilities (e.g., Oil & Gas, chemical, heavy manufacturing, laboratories) or with industrial clients (e.g., EPC firms). Please include relevant project examples.

  • A post-secondary degree or certification is a plus but not required.
