Cell Therapy is expanding with numerous cell projects being developed by academic centers and industry. The development of a cell therapy product is complex and requires integration of multiple disciplines with a common purpose. We have proven our capacity for leadership in the field of cell therapy by developing novel therapies such as viral CTLs and a CAR NK program. We are currently world leaders in the use of CAR-NK to treat cancer.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

Applies technical expertise and experience to plan, coordinate, design, supervise and carry out research projects. Plans, organizes, coordinates, directs, and participates in scientific research projects. Assigns and reviews work of subordinates, determines specific goals or objectives to be attained, evaluates resulting research data and revises techniques or approaches to work problems. Compiles, writes, and submits reports to superior.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Candidates must have PhD, MD, or MD/PhD of Natural Science in a related field along with excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently within a research team.

POSITION INFORMATION

MD Anderson offers full-time postdoc positions with a salary ranging from $64,000 to $76,000 (https://trainees.mdanderson.org/apply/mdaPostdoctoralFellowStipendFY24.pdf) . depending on the number of years of postgraduate experience. MD Anderson trainee compensation also includes:
