Convention Center), NRG Stadium (home of the Houston Texans and The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo), NRG Astrodome (The Astrodome), and NRG Arena. We are seeking a unique Operations Manager to join our Operations team. Under general supervision, manages, coordinates, supervises, and directs personnel, subcontractors, and the daily activities involved in the successful execution of events and maintenance of the facility by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors. Acts as liaison between the facility and clients, ensuring all clients requirements are met and facility rules, regulations and policies are adhered to.

• Oversee all aspects of operations including event coordination and services, rigging, housekeeping, event staffing, set-ups and changeovers, crowd and risk management, fire and life safety and ADA compliance.
• Manage subordinate supervisors who oversee employees in various functions.
• Implement and train all employees on the operating procedures, preventive maintenance schedules, emergency plans, and safety/risk management policies that conform to NRG Park standards.
• Assist in the preparation and negotiation of service agreements for event services, housekeeping services, maintenance, and other agreements as needed.
• Inspect conversions, construction, and installation progress to ensure conformance to established specifications.
• Authorize the requisition of equipment and supplies within budget guidelines.
• Act as a liaison between tenants and facility contractors as needed.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
