Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

Job Description

The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling fabricated parts into large or heavy subassemblies and complete units. This role involves testing and calibrating parts to ensure they meet tolerances and product specifications. The assembler will use hand tools and power tools such as wrenches, pliers, drills, and impacts to assemble parts according to drawings/blueprints. The role also includes using a propane hand torch to apply shrink wrap material to products prior to shipping. Teamwork is essential, as you will work both independently and with other assemblers. Adherence to workplace safety protocols, including proper tool usage, lifting techniques, and hazard identification, is mandatory.

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 720 Hour(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Houston, Texas.

Work Environment

Production environment with exposure to loud noise, moving machinery, and other hazards. Frequent lifting and moving objects between 10 - 50 pounds is required. Safety protocols must be followed at all times. Work hours are from 7AM to 3:30PM, Monday to Friday.
