Role Overview
This Managing Director will support Construction Disputes & Advisory - one of seven business groups focused on client delivery services across the Firm.

Requirements:
Technical expertise, including Critical Thinking, Problem Solving and Specialized Knowledge
The Managing Director will work with the Senior Managing Director to set strategy for the group, lead major client engagements, develop brand and marketing collateral, direct business development efforts, and manage the group.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Construction Management with requisite consulting experience
Experience:
10 years minimum experience in Construction Management, Project Controls or Capital Project consulting focused on strategic facilities master planning, service line planning, and business and data analytics for large construction projects or capital projects.
Ideal candidate will have Construction Management and Project Control experience and experience managing and growing a Project Controls team.

Specialized Knowledge
Identifies, advances and closes on opportunities at new and existing clients
Promotes new or expanded service offerings inside and outside the Firm
Understands core services provided by all Ankura practices and can recommend solutions and resources outside of team/practice
Client – Relationships and Project Management
Monitors and ensures client satisfaction with overall service and quality of deliverables
Establishes an expectation for high quality standards for self/(team) in all aspects of client relationship/sales cycle
Expands relationships to highest level of client organization
Defines a compelling value proposition aligned with the client’s challenges and needs
Adheres to engagement acceptance process within established policies and time frames
Defines strategy and manages multiple and/or complex engagements
Manages within prescribed budgets
Firm – Network Building & Corporate Citizenship
Takes a leadership role in professional or community organizations and promotes a positive image of the Firm
Writes and presents on topics of interest to clients and industry peers (thought leadership, including white papers, webinars, conferences, journal papers, etc.)
Recognized internally and/or externally as an expert in one’s field
Grows professional network
Sources, recruits, and integrates new talent to Firm and practice
People – Self Development & Development of Others
Ensures key performance management milestones are met for self and team; actively participates in calibration process
Pursues opportunities to expand own capabilities and to refine and further develop expertise to meet evolving market demands
Attends, and encourages team to attend professional development/training opportunities; instructs sessions as needed
