Summary The Manager of Operations Integration for NASA's Commercial Crew Program (CCP) is responsible for mission management, operational integration, crew safety, and real-time execution of all aspects of CCP test flights and post certification missions. The responsibility for execution of these missions begins with the flight test or flight readiness review, continues through the mission/flight test and ends with handover of the crew from the commercial providers to NASA in the post landing timeframe. Responsibilities The Manager Operations Integration Commercial Crew Program: Manages and integrates program-level operations requirements, mission execution requirements, and implementation strategies for accomplishing all program mission and flight objectives while balancing crew and vehicle safety (flight rules, launch commit criteria, operations interface procedures from commercial providers). Develops and implements program policy as required for the performance of program operations functions; and exercises responsibility for the overall conduct of operations for CCP, including chairing Mission Management Team meeting and leading the real-time launch support team. Interfaces with and integrates program-level requirements from commercial providers, International Space Station (ISS) Program, Flight Operations Directorate, Human Health & Performance Directorate, Engineering, Safety and Mission Assurance, Extravehicular Activity (EVA) and Human Surface Mobility Program, and other NASA centers and Headquarters organizations. Shares responsibilities for execution of the program to include strategic development, technical and programmatic direction, engineering support, and overall performance of the program in directing a human-rated space flight program. Conducts technical reviews and studies as requested by the Program Manager. This may include individual assessments, chairing committees or ad hoc study teams, leading program-wide review teams, or serving as the program representative on center, agency or international teams. Assists in the management of the CCP program through support of center-level strategic meetings and represents the program and commits the program and agency to courses of action within delegated authority. Supports employee feedback and rating process for CCP. MANDATORY TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS: MTQ 1- Demonstrated experience in human spaceflight operations management, including mission management, risk management, operational integration, and mission execution for human spaceflight missions. MTQ 2- Demonstrated expert knowledge and experience in planning and evaluating mission requirements, operational products, and implementation and execution of operations for human-rated spaceflight programs. Education This position has a positive education requirement. To be eligible, you must clearly state in your resume the following: degree, major and/or minor, and college/university. A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major study in engineering, physical science, mathematics, life sciences, computer science, or other field of science.
