Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Seeking a maintenance technician to perform mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs. The role involves repairing fabrication equipment such as presses, CNC machines, automated equipment, manual machines, forklifts, job cranes, and other mechanical equipment. You will need to machine and fabricate to make repairs as needed. Electrical maintenance will include electrical installations and disconnect/connect machine tools and other machinery. Perform work on switch gears, motor relays, gearboxes, and point-to-point wiring. Troubleshoot electrical circuits to include a/c and d/c circuitry. Troubleshoot and repair PLCs, servo drives, limit switches, and low voltage motors. Mechanical duties include hydraulic and pneumatic system repairs. Work on gears, chains, sprockets, belts, motors, and compressors.

Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs.

  • Repair fabrication equipment such as presses, CNC machines, automated equipment, manual machines, forklifts, job cranes, and other mechanical equipment.

  • Machine and fabricate to make repairs as needed.

  • Conduct electrical installations and disconnect/connect machine tools and other machinery.

  • Perform work on switch gears, motor relays, gearboxes, and point-to-point wiring.

  • Troubleshoot and repair PLCs, servo drives, limit switches, and low voltage motors.

  • Troubleshoot electrical circuits including a/c and d/c circuitry.

  • Perform mechanical duties including hydraulic and pneumatic system repairs.

  • Work on gears, chains, sprockets, belts, motors, and compressors.

Essential Skills

  • 5+ years of maintenance experience.

  • Experience with electronics, electrical, and mechanical maintenance.

  • Experience performing maintenance on automation equipment.

  • Ability to fabricate or weld lightly.

  • Possession of own basic tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in forging companies is a plus.

Work Environment

The position is in an open-aired environment with day shifts from 6 am to 2:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with weekends as needed.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $32.00/hr.
