Aerotek Maintenance Technician in Houston, Texas

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance on chain-driven conveyors, spiral conveyors, labelers, rollers, stretch wrappers, palletizers, and semi-automated loading systems. Responsibilities include repairing chains, sprockets, shafts, bearing assemblies, and understanding tensioners to fix parts on chain-driven conveyors. The role involves repairing photoeye sensors and switches on conveyors, and wiring up 3-phase motors as part of the electrical duties, though the focus is primarily on mechanical maintenance. The position works on the VTQ side near the loading dock and requires using maintenance software to track all preventative maintenance tasks. Candidates with experience in high-speed manufacturing mechanics or distribution mechanics are preferred.

Hard Skills

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Houston, Texas.

Work Environment

Very clean facility with air conditioning. Available shifts: 2nd shift (2pm-10:30pm, Saturday-Wednesday, off days Thursday and Friday) and 3rd shift (9pm-5:30am, Thursday-Monday, off days Tuesday and Wednesday).
