Extrusion Technicianwho shares our desire to create solutions that benefit the environment through evolving technologies and lasting partnerships. Based in Houston, TX with a large manufacturing site outside of Houston and in the process of expanding this site to add more production. We pride ourselves on promoting a truly diverse company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Perform routine operational equipment maintenance such as screen changes and pelletizer blade changes, to keep machinery running optimally.
• Interpret and respond to all plant parameter settings to maintain a steady throughput of material through the extrusion line.
• Examine product psychically to ensure conformance standards are being met and inform the quality team if any discrepancies are found.

• Forklift and pallet jack experience (required in some locations).

• Focus on safe work practices and high quality while executing duties with a sense of urgency.
• Work efficiently self-directed or in a team environment.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One (1) year of production experience, preferably in the extrusion/manufacturing process.
• Further education through vocational and technical training programs.
• Core classwork in programs including machining, tooling, material science, and metallurgy.
• Other qualifications include excellent manual dexterity, basic math skills, strong written and verbal communication, and physical stamina,
• Ability to interpret blueprints and design drawings to ensure your sorting is accurate and efficient
