Chevron Corporation Land Analyst in Houston, Texas
Chevron is accepting online applications for the position of Land Analyst with Chevron Pipeline & Power through October 4, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. (CST).
The Land Analyst role at Chevron Pipeline & Power is a member of the Texas Land Team and provides support for midstream assets on the Gulf Coast and in West Texas. The position is located in the Downtown Houston offices with infrequent travel to the Baytown field office
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
Maintain and analyze pipeline ROW files including easements, lease documents, real estate deeds, and various other documents relating to ownership and asset rights
Address simple ROW related issues, typically in support of 3rd Party Inquiries for the asset
Interface with county assessors and county clerk’s offices and transmit documents for recordation and has knowledge of proper recording requirements in assigned area
Appropriately receive and file permanent ROW documents. Knowledge of CPL’s file maintenance system and requirements, including document retention and file labeling.
Assist with internal and external right-of-way and title research
Support the conflict inquiry process to ensure optimal outcome for the Company
Provide due diligence support during the acquisition or divestment of assets
Assist with the payments process, including annual or recurring payments on rights-of-way, easements, etc.
Required Qualifications:
4 year degree or High School Diploma + 3 years of land/contract analyst experience
Working knowledge of midstream legal agreements (rights-of-way, access, amendments, etc)
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Energy Commerce, Petroleum Land Management, or similar
3+ years of midstream land analyst experience
Working knowledge of midstream business and operations
Acquisition and divestiture experience
Relocation Options:
Relocation may be considered.
International Considerations:
Expatriate assignments will not be considered.
Applicant must be able to use current US work authorization or able to apply for TN or E-3 Visa (no new visa applications in other cases)
