Job Title: Lab TechnicianJob Description

The Core Technician is a scientist role and will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks associated with the production of sterile biological pharmaceutical products. Key responsibilities include being knowledgeable and compliant with all pertinent safety policies, rules, and regulations. The role also involves ensuring that all team members comply with safety rules and regulations, maintaining quality systems, and ensuring cGMP compliance for the business. The technician must be able to perform procedures according to written guidelines and recognize any deviations from accepted practice.

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 7 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Houston, Texas.

Work Environment

12-hour rotating shifts - 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 3 days off. Day shift: 7am-7:30pm. Night shift: 7pm-7:30am. Must be available to train on the first shift - 5 days/week for the first 4-6 weeks. A majority of the work is done in a cleanroom environment. While working in the cleanroom, scrubs, hairnet, shoe covers, hood, gown, mask, boots, and two pairs of gloves are required.
