Job Title: HVAC Field Quality Specialist

Job Summary:

EMCOR Facilities Services, Inc. is a subsidiary of EMCOR Group, Inc., a nationally recognized leader in integrated Facilities Management. We are looking for an HVAC Field Quality Specialist to ensure our vendor service delivery meets customer expectations at locations in TX, CO, LA, TN, OK and MN. This individual also partners with Account Management in a relationship management capacity to support the client(s). This individual is responsible for visiting the daily locations in their territory at a minimum of once a month; some locations may require multiple visits. This individual is also responsible for visiting in-house sites. This individual assists with vendor on-boarding, training, and building relationships with the crews and key points of contacts

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Reviews vendor service delivery on all standard package and split unit HVAC systems that are common among light commercial customers

  • Drives operational service performance of suppliers inclusive of training and on-site visits. Validates supplier capabilities

  • Creates a positive climate with the client, provides and generates customer satisfaction. Maintains timely and consistent communications with customers and internal support teams

  • Completes other duties as assigned or required

Qualifications:

  • Up to 80% - Air or local travel within region to 3-4 days a week

  • High school diploma or degree/certification

  • Minimum 5 years HVAC service experience with strong operational and training experience

  • Must possess applicable certifications, licenses, and valid driver’s license in good standing. EPA Universal

  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions including, but not limited to, safety policies and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in individual and small group situations

  • Ability to use and operate handheld devices and business systems or document management Database software, including but not limited to Microsoft office, Lotus Notes, MS office (word, Excel)

  • Comply with all applicable codes, regulation, governmental agency and Company directives related to building operations and work safety

  • Maintain adequate knowledge of and comply with OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Act) standards and Company safety policies at all times

  • Experience in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of building mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems
