Siemens Energy Head of Americas EAD (Electrification – Automation – Digitalization) in Houston, Texas

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Head of Electrification, Automation, and Digitalization to lead our organization's efforts in redefining our operations and services through cutting-edge technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, automation technologies, and digital transformation strategies. This role requires a transformative leader who can motivate change, inspire innovation, and deliver sustainable results.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Overall responsibility fordefining the strategy and regional set-up for the EAD business in theAmericas.

  • Deep industry sales knowledgespecific to downstream and chemicals.

  • Building a strongpartnership with the Finance Head of EAD in the Americas.

  • Driving and ensuringimplementation and results of the overarching EAD strategy for theAmericas.

  • Collaboration across businessesin the Transformation of Industry unit and within the EAD organization iskey.

  • Deep knowledge in softwaresales, consulting and service industry.

  • Experience in leading globalteams.

  • Focus on partnerships with EPCand automation vendors based in Texas.

  • Representing EAD towardscustomers as well as within SE America Hub.

  • Existing client contacts acrossNorth and South America.

  • Working with a global deliverysetup.

  • Driving growth and profitabilityacross American industries such as maritime, offshore, onshore, fiber, andchemicals, with a keen emphasis on market expansion and customer experience.

  • Driving transformation and leadingthe function including structure, efficient and lean processes, and systems,establishing the network and continuously developing related procedures.

  • Directing, coaching, mentoringand supporting an experienced team to work together and ensure managementtargets and company values.

  • Bonus: experience workingclosely with licensors.

  • Member of the EAD leadershipteam with a committee to BU top line.

  • Travel 50%.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s ormaster’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, InformationTechnology, or related field.

  • 10+ years ofexperience in a leadership role within electrification, automation, ordigital transformation projects.

  • Strongunderstanding of current and emerging technologies in automation,electrification, and digitalization.

  • Excellentproject management skills, with a track record of leading complex projectsto successful completion.

  • Exceptionalleadership and team-building abilities.

  • Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage andwork with diverse teams and partners!

  • Strategicproblem solver with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Applicants mustbe legally authorized for employment in the United States without need forcurrent or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energyemployees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internaltransfers.
