has an excellent and immediate opening for a Finance Manager at NRG Park in Houston, Texas. NRG Park is in the fast lane for opportunity and excitement. We are a one-of-a-kind premier facility with four major venues within one giant park. NRG Center (one million+ sq. ft. Convention Center), NRG Stadium (home of the Houston Texans and The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo), NRG Astrodome (The Astrodome), and NRG Arena. We are seeking a unique Finance Manager to join our team. Under general supervision of the Director of Finance, the Finance Manager directs, manages, communicates and administers daily activities of the accounting function at NRG Park. Also, this position acts as a liaison between the facility and clients, ensuring all clients requirements are met and facility rules, regulations and policies are adhered to.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Include the following:

Supervises Finance Department Staff Accountants and other accounting functions including Accounts Receivable.

Assigns and coordinates event settlements and event reporting within Finance Department.

Serves as primary day to day contact for Tenant Finance Departments.

Ensures high quality of communication and coordination between Finance Department and key internal and external event stakeholders.

Supervises the monthly accounting cycle and general ledger account reconciliations.

Assists with preparation of financial statements for the client and ASM Global corporate including monthly statements, annual budgets and reports.

Coordinates preparation of external audit materials and serves as primary audit contact.

May perform other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Directly supervises employees in the Finance Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with ASM Global's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding; disciplining employees in conjunction with Human Resources; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
