Insight Global Field Data Technician in Houston, Texas

Job Description

An Insight Global client is currently looking for a Field Data Technician to join their fast-growing team. The Field Data Technician is responsible for collecting, verifying, and managing data related to assets in the field. This role supports various field operations, including asset verification, geolocation, problem identification, and survey activities using advanced tools such as Trimble Total Scanning Stations and aerial drones. The technician will also support digital twin efforts and assist with training and adoption of new technologies. This role will have a salary range starting at $100K annually.

Skills and Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in data field collection

  • Proficiency in using GPS, Drones, and survey equipment

  • Oil & Gas field experience

  • Familiarity with digital twin concepts

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Willing to travel up to 90% of the time * Experience with total scanning stations

  • GIS experience

  • ESRI Product experience

  • database knowledge null
