Job Description:

Position Overview: We are seeking a seasoned SAP S/4HANA English Speaking Consultant who is fluent in speaking English with SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling/Managerial Accounting (CO) functional & technical experience executing and delivering a complex migration project from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA. The candidate will be responsible for the configuration of SAP S/4HANA Target System to receive selected data migrated from a current SAP ECC system to ensure a seamless transition, while providing expert guidance and support to clients throughout the configuration build, testing and cutover activities of their journey to SAP S/4HANA. Consultant must also have experience implementing local statutory electronic reporting, electronic invoice processing of Customer and Vendor invoice transactions and taxes for Mexican manufacturing and distribution operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Functional and Technical Consulting:

Provide expert guidance and support in SAP S/4HANA Financial Accounting (FI) module, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting.

Work with SAP S/4HANA Core Team to configure and customize SAP S/4HANA functionalities to meet client requirements, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards and local Mexican Government transaction and reporting requirements.

Develop technical solutions and enhancements to support data migration, integration, and reporting requirements.

Provide guidance and support with SAP ECC migration to SAP S/4HANA for three company codes including New GL and Fiscal Year Change as part of the Selective Data Migration and Transformation process.

Provide guidance and support implementing local Mexican Government statutory electronic financial reporting, electronic invoice processing of Customer and Vendor invoice transactions and taxes for Mexican manufacturing and distribution operations.

Business Process Analysis and Optimization:

Work closely with finance departments to understand their processes and needs.

Analyze existing financial processes and suggest improvements.

Ensure the SAP system is aligned with business financial operations and reporting requirements.

Testing, Training, and Support:

Develop and execute test plans, scenarios, and scripts to validate SAP S/4HANA configurations and functionalities.

Conduct system integration testing, user acceptance testing, and regression testing to ensure system reliability, accuracy, and performance.

Collaborate with business users to resolve issues, address concerns, and implement solutions to meet project objectives.

Train end-users on the functionality of SAP S/4HANA FI/CO modules.

Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for SAP FI/CO issues.

Integration and Data Migration:

Ensure seamless integration of the FI/CO modules with other SAP modules like SD (Sales and Distribution), MM (Materials Management), and PP (Production Planning).

Oversee data migration from SAP ECC/legacy systems to SAP S/4HANA, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.

Work with the Selective Data/Bluefield Migration Team on the migration of data from Customer’s SAP ECC System target SAP S/4HANA System to ensure minimal business disruption and maximum efficiency.

Collaborate with data migration and technical teams on activities regarding data extraction, transformation, and loading into SAP S/4HANA during build, test and cutover phases of the project.

Reporting and Analytics:

Develop and maintain financial reports and dashboards using SAP tools.

Assist in the utilization of SAP S/4HANA's embedded analytics capabilities to provide actionable insights into financial data.

Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:

Act as the primary point of contact for key Financial Accounting and Controlling stakeholders at Customer’s Mexico manufacturing and distribution operations, including business users, project sponsors, and IT teams, providing regular updates, progress reports, and presentations on project status and milestones.

Proactively engage with stakeholders to gather and validate requirements, address concerns, and obtain feedback throughout the migration and transformation process to SAP S/4HANA.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, fostering trust and confidence in the migration process and deliverables.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree preferred.

Fluent in English language.

10+ years of experience in SAP FI (AP, AR, GL, Fixed Assets, Bank Accounting) and SAP CO (Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Profitability Analysis, Product Costing and Material Ledger) module implementation and support.

Knowledge and experience implementing local Mexican Government statutory electronic financial reporting, electronic invoice processing of Customer and Vendor invoice transactions and taxes for Mexican manufacturing and distribution operations.

Knowledge and experience with Fiscal Year Change/Conversion is required

In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling configurations, functionalities, and best practices with a minimum of two (2) SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA Selective Data Transfer or Brownfield migration projects .

Proven experience as a key team member in projects from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA involving Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling/Managerial Accounting (CO) applications leveraging SAP tools during the migration and transformation process.

Experience with other SAP modules and migration tools, such as Data Migration Cockpit, Materials Management, Sales & Distribution, Production Planning, Inventory Management and Warehouse Management is a plus.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively engage with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

SAP S/4HANA certification in Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) is highly desirable.

Primarily Remote with occasional onsite meetings

The pay range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: specific skills, qualifications, experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. The pay range for this position is estimated at $122,800.00 to $171,920.00 USD. Additionally, this role may be eligible for a short-term incentive based on company results and individual performance.​
