ManpowerGroup Control Systems Engineer/Site Lead in Houston, Texas

Our client within industrial automation industry is seeking a Senior Control Systems Engineer to join their team. As a Sr. Control Systems Engineer, you will be supporting a client onsite by providing troubleshooting, technical support, and other tasks within the Allen Bradley system. This role is an embedded/onsite support role for an Oil and Gas company. The ideal candidate will have experience working within O&G on Allen Bradley design, implementations, and optimizations.

Job Title: Sr. Control Systems Engineer

Location: Houston, TX 77079

Pay: $50.00-60.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and optimize PLC programs using Allen Bradley's ControlLogix and CompactLogix series, including SLC500 and ControlLogix platforms.

  • Apply Allen Bradley solutions, including PanelView HMIs and ControlLogix PLCs, to address specific challenges within the oil and gas sector, such as Compressor Control automation, pump control, and Process Control systems.

  • Design and implement customized control systems using Allen Bradley products to optimize upstream, midstream, and downstream processes while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

  • Leverage your expertise in Allen Bradley products, including E300s, AB Drives, and RSLinx Gateway, to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • Extensive hands-on experience with Allen Bradley products, including PanelView HMIs, RSLogix, FTView, SLC500, ControlLogix, ControlNet, DeviceNet, E300s, AB Drives, RSLinx Gateway, and RA Asset Center.

  • Proficiency in programming languages for PLCs, including ladder logic, structured text, and FactoryTalk View Studio development.
