Job Title: Project Manager - Data Analytics Innovation (Contract)

Location: Onsite Houston TX

Contract Duration: 6 months

We are embarking on a data analytics innovation project aimed at enhancing AI capabilities and are in search of a seasoned Project Manager as one of the leaders for this ambitious project on a contract basis. This role is designed for a leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and is skilled in turning complex data into strategic assets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Spearhead the planning and execution of a high-profile data analytics project, ensuring alignment with our AI objectives.

• Manage project scope, timelines, and resources effectively, integrating AI and machine learning technologies to meet project goals.

• Work closely with data scientists, AI experts, and business units to deliver project outcomes within the contractual period.

• Apply agile and scrum methodologies to manage project workflows, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

• Monitor project performance against expectations, managing changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.

• Communicate clearly and effectively with all project stakeholders, facilitating collaboration and transparency.

• Lead risk management efforts to minimize project risks and ensure timely resolution of issues.

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by incorporating advanced data tools and methodologies into the project framework.

  Requirements:

• At least 5 years of project management experience, with substantial involvement in AI and data-driven projects.

• Demonstrated expertise in managing agile AI projects that leverage Databricks, Data IKU, and AWS.

• Proficient in Agile project management; Scrum Master certification is preferred.

• Strong leadership and negotiation skills, capable of managing diverse teams and complex stakeholder relationships.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Data Science, or Engineering; Master’s degree is advantageous.
