Job Description

Salary: $130,000 - $150,000 (negotiable for the right candidate)

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Construction Manager with expertise in overseeing land repurposing projects and possessing a Professional Engineer (PE) certification. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction project management and design work, with the ability to procure subcontractors, manage construction phases, and demonstrate strong project management skills. This role will focus on overseeing the actual projects while also being involved in design aspects. This position requires a Construction Manager with significant experience in overseeing the actual execution of land repurposing projects, with the ability to manage construction phases, liaise with subcontractors, and possess design experience. It's essential to have a strong focus on construction management aspects while also being involved in the design and development.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the construction phases and day-to-day activities of land repurposing projects.

• Procure subcontractors and manage their teams.

• Maintain contracts, act as the client representative, and take ownership of the projects.

• Oversee the design breakdown, with approximately 30% involvement in the front-end design work.

• Ensure that construction management aspects such as remediation, hazardous materials, regulatory framework, constructability, and soil stability are meeting expectations for surface and subsurface readiness.

Skills and Requirements

Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in managing construction projects, with a focus on land repurposing and design aspects.

• Strong project management skills and the ability to oversee projects in the $20 million range.

• Experience in dealing with remediation, hazardous materials, regulatory framework, and soil stability assessments.

• Previous experience with overseeing design aspects and liaising with subcontractors and clients.

• Professional Engineer (PE) certification null
