We are looking for an experienced Business Banking Portfolio Manager to join Amegy’s Business Banking team. We will consider candidates in the Houston and Dallas markets. The successful Portfolio Manager will have experience servicing, developing, and retaining new and existing clients.

Essential Functions:

  • Manage and service a portfolio of loan relationships

  • Spread and analyze financial statements, addressing industry risks, collateral requirements, loan structuring and pricing, credit analysis, monitoring credit performance and loan presentations.

  • Report on loan activities related to past dues, documentation and collateral exceptions, financial performance updates, portfolio profitability, covenant compliance, etc.

  • Expand, build, and maintain client relationships, providing the highest level of customer service.

  • Cross sell other bank products

  • Perform other duties as required.

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years’ of directly related experience preferred

  • Successful completion of credit training program preferred

  • Full use and application of standard principles, theories, concepts and techniques

  • Working knowledge of knowledge of credit analysis; spreading and analyzing financial statements; credit scoring; loan documentation

  • Experience with bank loan and deposit systems

  • Other duties as assigned
