Robert Half Business Analyst in Houston, Texas

Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Business Analyst in Houston, Texas. In the service industry, this role will involve troubleshooting software issues, maintaining relationships with end-users, and making continual improvements to the system. You will be responsible for designing, documenting, and maintaining system processes, and ensuring that all procedures and operations remain confidential.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot issues related to Dynamics software to ensure smooth operations.

• Build and nurture relationships with end-users, working to enhance our system integration.

• Consistently seek out ways to improve monitoring systems and deliver better value to customers.

• Conduct in-depth studies of current practices to design necessary system modifications.

• Identify and recommend controls to address problems in the system.

• Update and write procedures to maintain system protocols.

• Develop and maintain user documentation to serve as a reference.

• Train users to ensure they are able to use the system effectively and efficiently.

• Ensure information confidentiality to maintain user confidence and protect operations.

• Attend educational workshops, review detail oriented publications, and establish personal networks to maintain detail oriented and technical knowledge.

• Contribute to team effort by achieving related results as required.

• Use skills in Atlassian Jira, CRM, Database, EO/IR systems, Gap Analysis, AB Testing, Agile Scrum, Business Process Functions, Business Requirement Document, Claim Administration, and Dynamics to perform tasks effectively. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role as a Business Analyst

• Proven expertise in Atlassian Jira, CRM, and Database management

• Familiarity with EO/IR systems and Gap Analysis

• Demonstrated experience in AB Testing and Agile Scrum methodologies

• Knowledge of Business Process Functions and Business Requirement Document creation

• Experience in Claim Administration and Dynamics

• Ability to work in a service industry environment

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability

• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or related field is preferred

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
