This position supports the Ankura Risk Advisory Business Group - one of six practices focused on client delivery services across the Firm.

As a Risk Advisory Analyst, you will collaborate closely with the Business Group Operations Partner within a team environment that spans Ankura's multidisciplinary expertise and global presence. Responsibilities:

• Deliver on day-to-day activities of business operations including close communication with Support daily business operations through close communication with the Business Group Operations Partner and interaction with team members.

• Engage in Financial Planning & Analysis: Develop strategic long-range planning, budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modeling enabled by technology.

• Design management reporting packages focused on key performance indicators to facilitate financial goal achievement.

• Utilize data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, Alteryx) to drive decision-making and predict business outcomes.

• Aggregate, cleanse, and normalize diverse data sources.

• Analyze and interpret historical financial, operational, and transactional data.

• Create comprehensive summaries, data visualizations, written analyses, and presentations.

• Produce consistent and thorough documentation to support improved financial data processes.

• Participate in internal meetings with global business leaders.

• Manage time and tasks to meet deadlines effectively.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, MIS, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, or a related analytical field with strong academic performance.

• Mastery of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

• Strong interest or experience in using technology to solve complex data problems.

• Ability to collaborate on team-oriented projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

• Advanced decision-making and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.

• Strong time management and task prioritization skills.

• Capability to produce high-quality work under strict deadlines.

• Confidence in interacting with senior team members.

• Excellent written and verbal communication, quantitative, and organizational skills.

• Strong work ethic, eagerness for continuous development, and motivation to succeed.

• Creative and innovative mindset.

• Interest or experience in technologies such as SQL, PL/SQL, MS SQL, Oracle, MySQL, Python, C#, VBA, PHP, SSIS, Pentaho Data Integration, Tableau, Power BI, Spotfire, Relativity, and predictive coding applications.

• Willingness and flexibility to travel as needed.

  For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, Colorado, or New York, Ankura is required to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the said markets and considers a broad range of factors including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. The range does not include additional benefits outside of salary. At Ankura, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each role. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range is between $50,000 to $120,000; this range is not a promise of a particular wage.
