Description We are offering a unique employment opportunity for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for handling cash applications and collections, researching accounts, and assisting with automation in accounts receivable. This role will be based 100% onsite and will require a strong proficiency in Oracle and other accounting software systems.

Responsibilities:

• Handle cash applications accurately and in a timely manner

• Oversee accounts receivable collections, ensuring timely payments from customers

• Conduct thorough research on any discrepancies in accounts and rectify them promptly

• Assist in implementing and maintaining automation processes in accounts receivable

• Proficiently use Oracle and other accounting software systems to manage and track customer accounts

• Conduct regular check processing and handle any related issues

• Manage billing functions, ensuring all invoices are sent out accurately and on time

• Use Microsoft Office Suites, particularly Excel, to organize data and generate reports

• Regularly monitor cash activity and report any unusual transactions

• Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of all accounts receivable activities Requirements • Proficient in Accounting Software Systems

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suites

• Solid understanding of Accounting Functions

• Experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) management

• Familiarity with Billing Functions

• Ability to handle Cash Activity

• Skills in Check Processing

• Proficiency in using Oracle software

• Excellent communication and organizational abilities

• Attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or relevant field preferred
