Description We are offering a contract for a permanent position as an Accounts Receivable Specialist. Based in Houston, Texas, this role is in the construction industry. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will work with a team to manage customer inquiries, keep customer records up-to-date, and monitor customer accounts.

Responsibilities:

• Efficient and accurate processing of customer credit applications.

• Maintaining detailed and precise customer credit records.

• Handling customer inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.

• Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action when necessary.

• Processing high-volume invoices and managing bid proposals.

• Working with various Client Billing Portals to manage accounts.

• Processing and verifying Conditional & Unconditional Waivers documents.

• Managing deposits, posting paid invoices, and releasing Unconditional Waivers after deposit is made.

• Conducting weekly collection activities via telephone and email.

• Tracking job costs and maintaining up-to-date records.

• Closing projects once they are fully paid and ensuring proper filing.

• Processing contracts for general contractors.

• Familiarity with AIA Document G702/703 – Application & Certificate for payment forms for monthly billing to General Contractors.

Skills:

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems and ADP - Financial Services.

• Experience with CRM and Epic Software.

• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning.

• Familiarity with Accounting Functions and Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Experience with Billing Functions and Cash Activity.

• Knowledge of Cash Handling protocols and procedures. Requirements • Role requires a minimum of 3 years of experience as an Accounts Receivable Specialist or in a similar role.

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required for this role.

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is a must.

• Experience with CRM is essential.

• Proficiency in Epic Software is required.

• Experience in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is highly beneficial.

• Solid understanding of Accounting Functions is crucial.

• Must have hands-on experience with Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Should be well-versed with Billing Functions.

• Must have experience in Cash Activity.

• Proficiency in Cash Handling is required.
