Description

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Houston, Texas. The role involves processing a high volume of invoices, transferring data between systems, and conducting vendor reconciliations. This role will be partially remote and will require a high level of organization and attention to detail.

Pay is up to $25/hr DOE

Responsibilities:

• Handle the processing of a large number of invoices on a monthly basis

• Transfer data from one software system to another as required

• Conduct detailed vendor reconciliations as a key aspect of the role

• Work remotely on certain days of the week, requiring a high level of self-management and discipline

• Utilize software systems such as OpenInvoice, with a focus on accurate data entry

• Employ skills in Accounts Payable (AP), Account Reconciliation, Check Runs, Coding Invoices, Data Entry, Invoice Processing, and Microsoft Excel

• Manage a flexible work schedule, ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely manner

• Review resumes and participate in phone screenings as part of the recruitment process

• Update and maintain accurate customer credit records

• Resolve customer inquiries and monitor customer accounts, taking appropriate action when necessary.

Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience in Accounts Payable (AP)

• Ability to conduct Account Reconciliation

• Familiarity with Check Runs

• Expertise in Coding Invoices

• Proficiency in Data Entry

• Experience in Invoice Processing

• Ability to work with Open Invoice

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong time management and organizational skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

• Understanding of financial and accounting principles

• Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
