Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk based in Houston, Texas. This role is crucial to our finance team, with a focus on ensuring the effective and efficient processing of vendor invoices, maintaining accurate records and providing reliable financial transaction reviews.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently receive, sort, and match vendor invoices with corresponding purchase orders and receiving documents on a daily basis.

• Perform meticulous review of invoices for necessary approvals.

• Ensure accurate coding of documents for proper financial recording.

• Assist in the thorough review of financial transactions.

• Prepare and provide comprehensive reporting on data as directed by the finance team.

• Handle additional administrative tasks as required.

• Utilize your skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Check Runs, Coding Invoices, Data Entry, Invoice Processing, Microsoft Excel, and SAP to enhance the efficiency of the finance department. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, with an ability to identify and resolve discrepancies efficiently

• Demonstrated experience in Accounts Payable (AP), ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices

• Ability to perform Check Runs, maintaining accuracy and efficiency

• Experience in Coding Invoices, effectively categorizing them for easy tracking and management

• Strong Data Entry skills, with an emphasis on accuracy and speed

• Proven expertise in Invoice Processing, ensuring all invoices are processed and paid in a timely manner

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to create spreadsheets, use advanced formulas, and generate reports

• Experience with SAP or similar enterprise resource planning software, managing the financial transactions within the system.
