Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity with a private equity firm that focuses on traditional and new energy markets. Our client is looking for an entry level Accountant to join their team located Downtown.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the execution of daily financial transactions, which includes ledger entries and processing payments

• Oversee the management of invoicing tasks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

• Provide support in fund accounting activities

• Assist with audits, contributing to the preparation of necessary documents and information

• Help with ad hoc requests that may arise in the course of operations

• Take an active role in the month-end close process, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately

• Assist in managing the company accounts, monitoring for discrepancies or issues

• Collaborate with other team members to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency

• Ensure all customer inquiries are resolved in a timely and professional manner

• Maintain accurate customer credit records and process customer credit applications efficiently.

Requirements

• Possess a minimum of one year of experience in an accounting role or

• Detail-oriented, eager to learn personality

• Basic understanding of Accounting

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
