Description Accounting Clerk

Immediate opening for an Accounting Clerk to work on site in Houston, TX 4 days a week and remotely one day.

The duties of the Accounting Clerk include:

Prepares balance sheets profit and loss statements and other financial reports.

Analyzing trends costs revenues financial commitments and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses.

Reports organization's finances to management and offers suggestions about resource utilization tax strategies and assumptions underlying budget forecasts.

Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts practices and procedures.

May lead and direct the work of others.

Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. 3-5 years’ experience

Minimum Requirements for the Accounting Clerk

High School Diploma

3+ years of experience working in accounting department, preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements.

Familiar with Oracle Financials, setting up suppliers, accounts payable Requirements Planning, Procedures, Budgeting - Forecasting, Perform Ad Hoc Financial, Expense Reporting, Financial Reporting, Practices, Tax, Predictive Analysis, Analyze Trends, Prepare Balance Sheets, Resource Utilization, QA Management, Profit and loss
