Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a General Fabrication to join their team. As a General Fabrication, you will be part of the production department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: General Fabrication

Location: Clare, MI

Pay Rate: $15.50 an hour

1st shift - 8 am to 4 pm (Monday thru Friday)

3rd shift - 12 am to 8 am (Monday to Thursday)

What's the Job?

• Fabrication of products by performing necessary operating functions on drill presses, vertical mills, belt sanders, pines benders, saws, lathes, and presses.

• Position parts according to the work order, routing, prints, and knowledge of the product being fabricated.

• Perform drilling, sanding, punching, and cutting tasks to ensure high-quality output.

• Assure that the fit, function, and appearance of parts meet or exceed standards.

• Collaborate with team members to enhance production efficiency and quality.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in metal fabrication or machine operation.

• Basic math skills to perform necessary calculations.

• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
