Job Title: Material Handler

Job Description

Primary duties are to load, unload, process, and store waste materials at a permitted waste treatment facility. You will operate a forklift with attachments, as well as brooms, shovels, production machines, palletizers, and a tractor. You will also work off a ladder/stairs. Use Department of Transportation (DOT) knowledge to match and label inbound materials for storage and shipping to other sites. This includes using an RF scanner as non-hazardous material is processed from holding area to holding area. Utilize barcode system equipment (RT Scanner) to document and keep track of all materials that come in and go out.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Benton, Arkansas.

Work Environment

This position will be primarily inside handling waste material that is transported in from the Field team. This is a dirty job exposed to both extreme heat and extreme cold. Candidates should be prepared to work in a labor-intensive environment. Dress attire includes steel toe boots and company-issued uniforms. The shift operates on a Panama schedule (12-hour shifts) with day shifts from 5:45 am to 6:15 pm and night shifts from 5:45 pm to 6:15 am. Candidates should be flexible with the schedule to learn the entire process in the warehouse, enabling them to move up to a Supervisor/Lead role that offers higher pay.
