Senior Specialist, LPM&O

The ELE Lifecycle Portfolio Mgmt and Operations (LPM&O) Senior Specialist plays a significant role in supporting cross-team operational activities and is responsible for delivering and executing multiple complex ELE-wide projects involving significant technology and/or business complexity. This role works across the full scope of ELE teams and geographies and is knowledgeable in all ELE areas.

Work you'll do

  • Represent the ELE organization for large scale projects impacting ELE to critical internal stakeholders (e.g., finance, legal, ITS, etc.)

  • Use strong institutional knowledge to help inform strategic engagement planning with ELE internal and external stakeholders

  • Collaborate with internal (Talent teams: TBA, TA etc.) and external stakeholders (e.g., People / Business Leaders, ITS etc.) to execute ELE-wide projects

  • Updates project plans, monitors project status and execution

  • Facilitate teamwork, including the definition of roles and responsibilities, assessment of required skill-mix, and acquisition of appropriate resources to successfully complete assigned projects

  • Demonstrate effective negotiation skills with team members, Talent customers, vendors, and Deloitte Leadership

  • Responsible for the effective use of project management concepts, tools, and process improvement techniques

  • Accountable for project documentation, status reporting, and work-planning

  • Assess and mitigate risks associated with project plans, implementation and steady-state support

  • Assist with team operational activities, including but not limited to, monitoring metrics, scorecards, surveys, and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs), maintaining the Service Area Catalog, supporting requests from the Talent Services Program team, and helping to coordinate the agendas and manage the ELE All Hands meetings and other key forums.

The team

The Employee Lifecycle Events (ELE) team is part of the Talent Services (TS) channel of the Deloitte Talent Organization. TS delivers a breadth of services through an innovative and customer-centric shared services model. The TS vision is to make a global impact through a distinctive Talent experience. The operating principles are to think business first, be bold in everything we do, own the experience, and seize every moment to grow. The ELE Lifecycle Portfolio Management and Operations team leads and develops large scale initiatives across the full scope of ELE teams and geographies.

QualificationsRequired:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 3+ years of experience in HR Operations/Project Management/Client Management

  • Knowledge of ELE services and processes, including holistic view on how teams connect

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate with stakeholders

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively at both detail and big-picture levels and to drive initiatives forward

  • Proficiency with Project Management tools and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, and advanced Excel mandatory); HRIS system experience

  • A high degree of sensitivity and confidentiality and ability to work in a highly confidential environment

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Preferred:

  • Applicant Tracking System (ATS) experience

  • Case Management System experience (e.g., Salesforce, SuccessFactors)

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $60,000-$110,500.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
