JOB OVERVIEW :
The Human Resource Coordinator will be part of a supportive team, where you will primarily focus on recruitment activities, including prescreening candidates managing the applicant pool, and managing recruitment social media. The Human Resource Coordinator will collaborate with hiring managers to ensure the best candidates are forwarded for consideration. This position also includes supporting general HR administrative tasks with a strong emphasis on performance documentation.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :
Assist with Job Fairs and Hiring events.
Assist recruiter with with job postings
Publish and promote open positions on social media
Review resumes and applications to identify potential candidates
Conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidate qualifications and fit for the position
Maintain communication with candidates through recruitment to ensure a positive experience
Track and manage the flow of applicants through the recruitment process using the applicant tracking system
Provide regular updates to hiring managers on the status of open positions and the candidate pipeline
Assist with in-person onboarding
Provide general administrative support to the HR team including performance management, associate change documentation, answering phones, assisting with associate walk-in traffic, filing, data entry, and handling inquiries
Perform other job duties as assigned
Required Skills & Abilities:
Associate degree or two years of Human Resources experience; experience in recruitment preferred
Knowledge of HR practices and procedures
Must have a valid Texas Drivers' License
Bi-lingual in Spanish preferred
Knowledge of employment law
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written process, including background checks, sending the applicant the Crescent onboarding link, logging new hires on the onboarding spreadsheet, creating the associate electronic files, and completing the hiring process.
