Performs paint application on railcar component assembly operations

DUTIES & RESPONSIBIITIES:

• Must have basic mechanical knowledge for dismantling equipment.

• Must have knowledge of surface preparation (sanding, feathering edges, body filler and fiberglass repairs).

• Must be knowledgeable of painting techniques with the use of all spray guns.

• Must have ability to clean, prep and mark all equipment and parts to be painted.

• Must have ability to mix and thin all paints and coating according to specifications.

• Must have ability to layout and install decals.

• Some supervision required for all tasks

  REQUIRED TRAINING:

• ISO

• Hazardous Communication/MSDS

• PPE

• Respirator Use

• Annual Spriometry Testing

• Drawing Reading

• Basic Hand Tools

• Job Safety

  Pay: $20-22/hr
