JOB DOES NOT START UNTIL March 04, 2023. APPLICANT SHOULD RECIEVE A COPY OF THE JOB DESCRIPTION AND JOB REFERRAL BEFORE CALLING EMPLOYER CONTACT. All workers should be physically able to meet and perform the work outlined in the contract for the entire period of time from 03/04/2023 to 12/28/2023. Workers will seed, transplant, cultivate, cut, house, and strip tobacco. May also prepare barns and land, do maintenance of tools and equipment related to job. Worker should be able to bend, stoop, and stand on their feet for long periods of time. The confirmed adverse effect wage for the area of employment is \$14.26 per hour for 2023. Wages are paid weekly. The employer guarantees to offer at least 3/4 of the hours listed in the contract. Worker\'s compensation insurance will be provided. The employer must provide free housing and three meals a day or furnish free convenient cooking kitchen facilities to all workers who are not reasonably able to return to their residence the same day. If the employer elects to provide meals, a maximum of \$14.00 per day may be charged to the employee. The employer will provide the necessary tools, supplies and equipment at no cost to the worker. Will assist in planting, cultivating, and harvesting row crops and fruit/vegetables and preparation of straw and hay: soil preparation, operation of tillage, harvesting, and cutting equipment, hauling and storage of hay/straw, preparing barns, draining fields, preparing lands for planting and dropping sticks in field. Workers should be able to bend, stoop, and able to stand on feet for long periods of time. Workers should be able to lift 25 to 70 pounds. Workers may be asked to submit to random drug testing. May be required to submit a criminal background check, at no cost to the worker. Felony convictions that employer reasonably believes, consistent with current law, will impair the safety and living conditions of other workers or other individuals on the farm will result in immediate termination.
