Adecco US, Inc. Maintenance Engineer in Hopewell, Virginia

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Ensure ongoing maintenance and reliability of fixed assets throughout the plant.

  • Act as resource for mechanics and contractors on complex jobs or unique/infrequent repairs and assist in the troubleshooting and diagnosis of mechanical equipment issues.

  • Provide Technical knowledge of API and ASME code requirements and support site EH&S requirements.

  • Verify and maintain written policies and procedures for all mechanical reliability programs to ensure compliance with Federal and State regulations, including management of change programs (MOC).

  • Monitor PM programs, develop new PMs, ensure compliance.

  • Provide an effective partnering communication link between maintenance, production and site leadership on all programs.

In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

  • 10+ years’ experience in Reliability Engineering/Maintenance Engineering

The following skill sets are preferred by the business unit :

  • Practical knowledge of relevant industry codes, such as API and ASME, and the application of Non-Destructive Testing methodologies

  • Practical knowledge of fixed equipment fabrication, operation & maintenance, repair and alteration

  • Background in industrial mechanical applications, experience in Chemical Manufacturing is a plus.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organization skills and function as a team player and program leader

  • Ability to effectively solve problems and manage multiple priorities and programs.

  • Experience with materials selection and damage mechanisms strongly desired

Compensation: Salary is competitive and negotiable based on experience and qualifications. We are open to discussing compensation to ensure it aligns with the skills and value you bring to the role.

Pay Details: $50,000.00 to $60,000.00 per year
