We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Tax Preparer in Hoover, Alabama. This role primarily involves handling tax operations within the finance department.

Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of individual and corporate tax returns.

• Facilitating general bookkeeping duties to maintain financial clarity.

• Utilizing Accounting Software Systems and Drake Tax Software to enhance efficiency.

• Overseeing accounting functions and allowances, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

• Providing excellent customer service and resolving client inquiries promptly.

• Performing data entry tasks with high precision.

• Understanding and applying knowledge of tax deductions.

• Leveraging QuickBooks for financial management and reporting.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with Drake Tax Software

• Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions

• Knowledge of Allowances in tax preparation

• Excellent Customer Service skills

• Accuracy and speed in Data Entry

• Understanding of Deductibles in tax laws

• Experience in preparing Corporate Tax Returns

• Experience in preparing Individual Tax Returns

• Proficiency in QuickBooks software.
