With no minimum visits or patients required, you will have the freedom to provide exceptional and personalized care. Description of the role As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will provide skilled services on an intermittent basis to patients in their homes, under the direction of a Registered Physical Therapist. Your role is vital in assisting with the evaluation and development of a rehabilitative plan of care. You will perform delegated patient care tasks and participate in assessments and periodic re-evaluations as required. The documentation and reporting of your findings are crucial, as you will prepare and maintain clinical progress notes, ensuring they are reviewed and submitted according to agency policies. Responsibilities * Assist a Registered Physical Therapist in providing patient care * Participate in evaluations and development of treatment plans * Document and report patient progress * Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and self-help device usage * Collaborate with the healthcare team * Provide patient education and coordinate care * Take on additional responsibilities as directed by supervisors Requirements * Successful completion of a curriculum of study approved by the American Physical Therapy Association leading to an associate of arts degree * Valid license as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of Hawaii * Clean criminal background check * Current CPR certification Benefits Compensation: $50 - $55 per hour Location: Honolulu, Hawaii Additional benefits will be discussed during the interview process.
