Actalent Site Superintendent in Honolulu, Hawaii

Actalent is looking for an experienced Site Superintendent to oversee the daily operations of construction projects on Oahu. This role is crucial for leading our onsite teams, prioritizing safety and quality, and maintaining project schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage the site-specific work schedule, including manpower allocation and tracking material and equipment needs.

  • Oversee field crews and subcontractors to ensure timely and budget-conscious project completion.

  • Work closely with the Project Manager on a daily basis.

  • Develop and maintain 3-week look-ahead schedules, and assist with updates to the overall project timeline.

  • Complete and submit daily reports.

  • Inspect workmanship and ensure compliance with submission requirements.

  • Review and comprehend construction plans and specifications, and keep as-built records updated.

  • Track and address punch list items according to contractual obligations.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned, based on project needs.

  • Ensure full adherence to EM 385-1-1 safety standards and create a safe work environment.

Qualifications:

  • At least 10 years of experience in Design-Build Construction, with projects ranging from $10-100M.

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Site Superintendent on construction projects.

  • OSHA 30 Certification.

  • First Aid/CPR Certification.

  • Strong knowledge of EM 385-1-1 requirements and proven ability to implement these standards in the field.
