Description

We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant for our operations in Hawaii. The successful candidate will be responsible for reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining the general ledger, preparing financial statements, and managing all aspects of the accounting function. Preference will be given to Hawaii residents. This is a full-time position that will oversee a team of accountants and report to the senior management team. Responsibilities

• Reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger account balances.

• Preparing comprehensive financial statements.

• Assessing internal controls, including performing risk assessments and reviews of risk areas.

• Assisting with the preparation of the budget and conducting monthly budget variance analyses.

• Overseeing and maintaining a system of accounting records and techniques.

• Conducting regular audits and implementing audit strategies.

• Supervising a team of accounting staff, providing guidance, training, and motivation.

• Execution of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.

• Expense reporting and control.

  Requirements

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in accounting.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.

• Solid communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Proficiency with latest accounting software and applications.

• Demonstrated strong analytical and organizational skills.

• Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills.

• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
