THIS IS A TEMPORARY EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY

Position Summary:

The Project Manager - Program Compliance and Resource Management is responsible for overseeing the implementation and enforcement of all Tidal Basin project management policies. This role involves ensuring compliance to prevent fraud, waste, and abuse while serving as the main point of contact for financial and resource management. The Project Manager will work closely with internal project teams and external partners to ensure efficient and transparent project operations.

Job Duties and Responsibilities include:

Policy Enforcement and Compliance:

+ + Implement and enforce all Tidal Basin project management policies across the program.

  • Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.

  • Identify and address any instances of non-compliance promptly.

    Fraud, Waste, and Abuse Prevention:

    • Develop and implement strategies to detect and prevent fraud, waste, and abuse.
  • Monitor project activities to identify and mitigate risks.

  • Investigate any allegations or suspicions of fraud, waste, or abuse and take appropriate action.

    Financial Management:

    • Serve as the main point of contact for all financial matters related to the program.
  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring accurate and efficient use of resources.

  • Prepare financial reports and forecasts for senior management and stakeholders.

    Resource Management:

    • Oversee the allocation and utilization of resources, including personnel.
  • Ensure resources are used effectively and efficiently to support project objectives.

  • Maintain up-to-date records of resource inventories and needs.

    Communication and Stakeholder Engagement:

    • Act as the primary liaison between the program and internal/external stakeholders regarding compliance, financial, and resource management issues.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders.

  • Foster strong relationships with all project partners to facilitate collaboration and transparency.

    Training and Development:

    • Conduct training sessions for project teams on compliance, fraud prevention, and resource management policies and procedures.
  • Stay updated on best practices and industry standards to continuously improve program operations.

    Reporting and Documentation:

    • Maintain comprehensive documentation of all compliance, financial, and resource management activities.
  • Prepare detailed reports for internal review and external audit purposes.

  • Ensure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible for relevant stakeholders.

    Skills and Competencies:

     

    • Strong knowledge of project management principles and practices.
  • Excellent understanding of compliance, fraud prevention, and risk management.

  • Proficiency in financial management and reporting.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • High level of integrity and attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in project management software and financial tools.

    Required Education and Experience:

     

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Public Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, with a focus on compliance, financial management, and resource allocation. Experience in a similar industry or sector is preferred.

    The pay range for this position is $50 to $54.00.

    Upon hire, secondary employment must be disclosed and approved.
